Hugues Gaston

Lawyer at the Bar of Paris

Hugues joined the Alexandre Boiché firm in January 2019, first as a lawyer-in-training, then as an associate since November 2019. He protects the interests of clients who are going through a family crisis involving domestic and international legal issues, through litigation or an alternative dispute resolution process.

He has a Master’s degree in Family Law from the Sorbonne Law School. Before completing his professional training at the Paris Ecole des Avocats, he completed several internships at an international family law firm. During his lawyer-in-training period, Hugues worked with the Office of Union Law, Private International Law and Civil Assistance of the French Justice Ministry, where he handled cases relating to international child abduction and the protection of children under the Hague Conventions of 25 October 1980 and 19 October 1996, as well as the Brussels II Bis Regulation.

Hugues is also a lecturer on family law at the Sorbonne Law School.

Hugues is a Fellow of the IAYL (International Association of Young Lawyers), registered in the International Private Clients and Family law commission.
